Newapapers in pakistan have created political consciousness among the masses. They make them aware of mational and intermational affairs.
They try to ensure justice and human rights for them. They are crusading against the evil forces of corruption, illiteracy, oppression, exploitation, bad governance, poverty, demerit, conspiracy and secularism.

Terrorism"s Reality

in simple terms, terrorism means the use of force or threat against a person or group or country. it is the burning question of today as there is a global wave of terrorism around. Terrorists of all races and creeds are active individually or collectively locally or globally in selling death. destruction, horror, harassment and insecurity. Though global war against terrorism has been afoot since the destruction of American World Trade Centre on September, 11, 2001, the most of terrorism is still very much there.

Almost all agree that widespread terrorism is all due to unjust global political and economic systems, poverty, frustrations, injustice, cruelty, exploitation, sectarianism, religious militancy, state-sponsored terrorism, double standard of super-powers, paralyzed UNO, and trouble spots like kashmir, palestine and Chechenya. The oppressed, exploited and frustrated ones want to punish certain groups and countries in their own way and, hence, resort to terrorism. Unless the above mentioned causes are remove terrorism cannot be rooted out. To blame a certain group or to make some country scape-goat in the mane of ending terrorism is only a wild goose chase. Is America not doing the same? Hence better sense must prevail to combat and remove terrorism effectively. Honest and impartial approach of big powers equitable global systems, distinction between freedom movements and terrorism, policy of live and let live are the keys to end global terrorism.

Unfortunately, American and European print and electronic media have launched poisonous propaganda against Islam and the Muslim World. The Muslims are being branded exstremists, fundamentalists, fanatics and dangerous for world peace. The so-called war against terrorism in Afghanistan, Iraq, Occupied Kashmir, Palestine and Chechenya is being called war against Islamic extremism. why is the Muslim world main target?

Have the Muslims clean hands in this regard?

These questions call for knowing the true significance of jihad and the real responsibility of the so-called jihadis. 

No doubt, jihad is necessary for the supermacy of truth , justice, goodness and fair-play over the forces of falsehood injustice, evil and cruelty. Agreed that conditions in this derailed and chaotic world are ripe for jihad, but it is totally unwise to launch jihad unless the jihadis set their own house in order, Jihad unless the jihad set thier own house in order. jihad is justified when there is proper preparation on religious, moral, social economic, cultural, educational human and military fronts to defeat the evil and evil-doers. With illiteracy, ignorance, corruption, disunity, sectarianism, exploitation and other social and moral evils in their own ranks, how can they reform the world?

Alqaida and such other groups have paid no attention to this fact and have earned nothing but bad name of islam and the muslim world-over. they should have launched social jihad first and, if necessary, miliitary jihad later.

Islamic countries should act in union to establish the ttruth image and to spread message of islam. Thay should take proper measures to counter the anti-islam propaganda. They should bring home to the world that being a religion of peace, justice, equality and human welfare, Islam condemns any form of terrorism. Islam aims at the welfare of the whole humanity and only it can bring about peace, progress and prosperity in this troubled world. They should assure the world community that they do not sponsor any sort of terrorism. However, they should not let America  and other anti-islam forces to tarnish the image of islam to gain their vested political , economic and hegemonic interests. They can do it if they act upon the teachings of islam, bring unity in their ranks, promote education and science and adopt moderation and broad mindedness

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words into his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him

XXII Consequently, they started reading about him and his religion, and a lot of them embraced Islam thereafter. Haven't you realized that he is a mercy for the worlds (of mankind and Jinn); even when he is insulted!? O Danish caricaturists! Don't you believe in co-existence? Then live and let the others live! The earth is so wide and there are vast expanses of fertile soils for everyone, even for your milk cows. Cease! It is better for you; or you will turn us- Muslims- into an implacable enemy for whom just the boycotting of your milk products will not be satisfactory

But before our letter comes to an end, we would like to mention two more things so that Allah (god) the Almighty and Who is the doer of whatsoever He intends (or wills), might remove the covering from in front of your eyes; and hence you may see the everlasting light! Well! The first is: in the New Testament of the Bible Jesus (P.B.U.H.) xviii declared, "...and He shall give you another Comforter" (John, 14: 16). The question is: Who is this "other Comforter" to come after Jesus? If you read neutrally with a clear mind what Jesus said in addition to the above Biblical Verse, you will be convinced that this Comforter is no one other than Muhammad (P.B.U.H.). In addition Jesus said, "..How be it when he the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glori$ me.."(John 16:7'14)

The Gift for Giving One’s Life for Allâh

But if you were to give your life for Allah Ta'ala, what reward will you receive? Look at the lofty status which Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal rahimahullâh received. Mullâ ‘Alî Qârî rahimahullâh writes in volume one of Mirqât that his actual name was Imam Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Hambal. His father’s name was Muhammad and his grandfather’s name was Hambal. However, he became popularly known as Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal and his father’s name became concealed. He was a great Hadîth scholar (muhaddith) and jurist of his time. He was also a student of Imam Shâfi‘î rahimahullâh. He differed with the khalifah (caliph) on a particular issue but he remained steadfast on the truth. The khalîfah issued many threats to him that he should abandon his standpoint or else he will be tortured severely. But Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal rahimahullâh remained firm on his view and did not bother about any punishment. Eventually, the khalîfah decided to lash him and this caused uproar in Baghdad. The people began talking that Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal rahimahullâh is going to be put through a tribulation today. When he received the first lash, he said: “Sub-hânallâh.” When he received the second lash, he said: “Lâ haula wa lâ qûwwata illâ billâh.” When he received the third lash, he said: “No calamity will afflict us except that which Allah Ta’ala has destined for us. He is our Master.” He was lashed so much that his trouser belt which was made of fabric became open. He immediately looked towards the heavens and his lips were still moving but no one knew what he was saying. The trouser belt became tight on its own and Allah Ta’ala saved him from becoming exposed. A Hadîth scholar went to visit Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal rahimahullâh one week later and asked: “O Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal! What did you read at that time?” He replied: “Because my trouser belt became loose, I said to Allah Ta'ala:           “O Allâh! If You know that I am on the truth, do not allow my private parts to become exposed. Allah Ta’ala then raised my trouser.” His son says that Imam Shâfi‘î rahimahullâh who was his teacher and was in Egypt at the time sent a messenger to Imam Ahmad rahimahullâh instructing him thus: “Go to my student Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal and bring back the shirt which he was wearing when he was being lashed.” Because Imam Shâfi‘î rahimahullâh was his Hadîth teacher, he obeyed his order and sent the shirt to
him. Imam Shâfi‘î rahimahullâh soaked that shirt in water and drank that water:      “He washed his shirt and drank its water.” Mullâ ‘Alî Qârî rahimahullâh writes:          “This is an indication of Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal’s lofty status.” The reason for this is that we see the teacher soaking his student’s shirt in water and drinking that water. He then says that an honourable person of Baghdad was buried 230 years later next to Imam Ahmad’s rahimahullâh grave. This person had made a bequest that he should be buried next to his grave.  Mullâ ‘Alî Qârî rahimahullâh writes:       When an honourable person was being buried next to his grave... The grave digger mistakenly struck the hoe on the grave of Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal rahimahullâh and this caused his grave to get open.       His shroud (kafan) was intact, and did not even get torn after 230 years.     The body of this true lover of Allah Ta’ala did not change. It was just as fresh as when it was buried. This was a supernatural feat in his favour. When a person dies for the sake of Allah Ta'ala, He blesses him with honour. Mullâ ‘Alî Qârî rahimahullâh writes that when his funeral bier was being carried, 20 000 people embraced Islam merely by looking at his funeral bier. This was because he was prepared to sacrifice his life but was not prepared to give up the truth. This is what is known as true îmân.       Twenty thousand people embraced Islam on the day of his demise.  “This is the funeral of a true lover of Allah Ta'ala. Come out and attend it with some clamour.” The Jews and Christians embraced Islam by saying that there has to be Allâh for a person to sacrifice his life in such a manner.    “Take my funeral bier through the narrow streets for whose pleasure I gave my life. You need to be selfless in order to attain servitude.” The Joy of Allâh’s Name If one does not have love for Allah Ta'ala, he cannot enjoy prostrating. You should therefore learn the love for Allah Ta’ala from those who love Him. Today, we find offering salâh to be burdensome. But when the love of Allah Ta’ala enters your heart, then just by saying “Allâh” once, you will experience the capsule of the joy of both worlds going down into your heart. The reason for this is that Allah Ta’ala is the creator of the bounties of both worlds, and it is He who placed enjoyment in both the worlds. Maulânâ Rûmî rahimahullâh says:  “O heart! What is sweeter, this sugar or the one who made this sugar?  How juicy the name of that Being will be who created the juice in the cane?  Maulânâ Rûmî rahimahullâh says:              “When I take the name of Allah Ta'ala, the hairs on my body turn to oceans of honey.” In other words, when I take the name of Allah Ta’ala with love, all my hairs turn to oceans of honey. We import [eat] sweetmeats into our stomach at night and export it the next morning in the toilet. In other words, we consider our stomach to be like an office for eating, drinking, importing and exporting. Those who engage in the excessive remembrance of Allah Ta’ala have taken the true joys of the world. When we go to Paradise, we will have just one regret: if only we did not display any shortcomings in remembering Allah Ta'ala. As long as you are living, engage in the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala by saying Yâ Allâh, Yâ Rahmân, Yâ Rahîm. Continue reading durûd (salutations upon Rasulullah (sallellaho alaihe wasallam)), continue safeguarding your gaze and, at the same time, make this du‘â’: “O Allâh! Forgive us for the secret glances which we stole and thereby earned unlawful pleasure.” Our soul is a thief and we have to be on guard against it. A poet says:         “All the musallîs should be mindful of their shoes. There is an elder who comes to the musjid in the form of Khidr.” In other words, his beard is white, but you must remember that the beard of the soul never becomes white. This tyrant always keeps a black beard.

Village & City Life

Life in city

Life in a big city is very busy and exiting. people work according to a time table and do not like to waste it in idle talk. They are always in hurry and it seems that they are living a mechanical life. In big city, every one is busy in his own affairs. He has no time for others. He works from morning till night and earns money for his children. People living in big cities know little about one another despite living in the same localities and streets for years.
Cities are more clean and pleasant than villages. A big city has many facilities like better education, roads, hospitals, dispensaries, factories and government offices. A great number of people from villages come to the big cities in search of some job. They settle there permanently and cause overcrowding in cities.
People living in a big city experience many problems like housing, transport, traffic, playgrounds and number of schools. Their children find it difficult to mix up with other children. Moreover population and industrial wastes make the atmosphere dirty.
Life in a big city is, no doubt, pleasant and comfortable but only for those who can afford it.

Life in Village

village life anywhere in the world is closely associated with agriculture. Farmers grow food for us all. They work very hard from morning till evening. Their wives and children help them in their work. Farmers are called the backbone of a nation's economy because we get vegetables,fruits and corn of our daily use which is the result of their untiring efforts.

Village life is quiet and peaceful. There is no noise of traffic as we see in big cities. Villagers have few worries and lead a contented life. They enjoy nature free of cost. Countryside is stretched all around the village. Their children run and jump wherever they like.

All the countryside is their ground. The air is fresh there. The greenery attracts all. The animals cry in their particular voice. The villagers bring their cots under a large banyan tree at noon in summer. Some of them sing ''Mahya'' or ever popular ''Heer'' and some play other games.

Children also come there and play. Some take rest, make gossips or enjoy sound sleep.

They live a simple life. They have framed their social activities.

According to the rational awareness and interests of the historians, the number of deities in this list rruy increase or decrease. Noise pollution is one of the biggest sources of discomfort, stress in pakistan.

In urban areas and big cities, noise position has reached dangerous levels. For instance, a survey by the Punjab Environment Protection Agency claims that the level of noise in Lahore has reached 91 decibels whereas a maximum of 75 decibels is acceptable. This means that the mental and physical health of so many people is already at risk.

SULTAN AHMAD MASJID

''Sultan Ahmad Masjid''  also known as Blue Masjid is one of the masterpiece of muslims Art and architecture in the world. The masjid is situated in Istanbul, Turkey. It was constructed during rule of Sultan Ahmad I. Sadefhar Mehmat Agha, the royal architect designed the masjid so skillfully that even today this masjid is considered unmatched in its size, majesty and splendor. There is also a heavy iron chain that hangs in the upper part of the court-entrance on the western side of the masjid. The Sultan had to lower his head to avoid hitting the chain and also as the symbolic gesture, to ensure the humility of the ruler in the face of the divine. The interior of the masjid at the lower level is decorated with ceramic tiles in form of tulips whereas at gallery level these designs represent flowers and fruits. The upper part is adorned with blue paint. Dome is made of carved marble. The Masjid is so designed that even when it is mast crowded, everyone in the masjid can hear and see the Imam. Four minarets on corners represent the height of glory of the Muslim architecture. The masjid has become a public place for the tourists. The Masjid still remains to be one of the most frequented monuments of the world.

Quaid-e-azam was a moderate and progressive democrat. He gave religious freedom to the non-Muslims in pakistan. He hated lingual ethnic, sectarian or provincial identities and prejudices. He wanted to make pakistan a welfare state in which everyone would have equal rights to to prosper irrespective of religion or creed. He wanted to see pakistan a prosperous country. He was in favor of modern technology and methods. He had moderate views on things and was against usurping the legitimate rights of others for their own motives.

Rights of Marriage partners

Thus marriage could be considered a partnership in which the principle parties have been assigned different but complementary roles consisting of rights and corresponding responsibilities. In order for family life to flow smoothly, each partner must fulfill his/her part of the partnership. Neither has the right to demand of their responsibilities are not fulfilled. Allah has given general guidelines concerning the role of each partner in the following Qur'anic statement:
meaning:
''Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has given the former more than the latter and because they (the former) support them from their means. Therefore, the righteous women are devoutly obedient and guard in their husbands' absence what Allah would have them guard.''

Rights of marriage partners

Just as individual members of society are entitled to certain rights and are subsequently responsible for fulfilling certain obligations within society, family members are entitled to certain rights and obliged to fulfill certain obligations within the family structure. The prophet (S.A.W.W) outlined the general hierarchy of responsibility in society in the following statement narrated by Ibn e Unar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the prophet said,
meaning of hadith:
''Verily every one of you is a shepherd and every one of you is responsible for hes flock. The Amir is shepherd over the people and shall be questioned about his subjects (a to how he conducted their affairs). A ma is a shepherd over the members of his family and shall be questioned about them. A woman is a guardian over her household and shall bee questioned as to how she managed the household and brought up the children. A slave is guardian over the property of the property of his master and shall be questioned about it (as how he safeguarded his trust). Verily, every one of you is a shepherd and every one shall be questioned in regard to his flocfk.''

Marriage superior to transient relationships

Undoubtedly, marriages built on principles of love, honor, respect and mutual caring are far superior to temporary relationships with a variety of partners. Such marriages stabilize society by protecting its primary unit the family.What would eventually happen to a society which forgets sanctioned relationships and allows base desires to rule. What of the women and children left in a dishonorable state without respect and support?  Such a society would he lower than the society of animals which are at least governed by instincts which cause them to protect and provide for their young and their mates. Consequently. Islam has placed great stress on the divinely ordained institution of marriage in order to protect society. In fact. the Prophet (PBUH) branded those opposed to marriage as being heretics and said.
Meaning of Hadith
''Marriage is a part of sunnah (divinely guided way of life). Whoever displeased with my Sunnah is not from among us.''

Since non-marital sew is forbidden on Islam. marriage protects individuals against immorality by providing outlets for natural urges as well as providing physical and emotional security fit both partners.

Marriage

The tranquility is not simply what one may feel after satisfying sexual impulses but it is the serenity which follows a psychological need which has been fulfilled. Every individual is aware of having felt lack or sense of loss within himself/herself which needed completion, a weakness which needed strengthening or loneliness which could only be removed by someone truly committed to to him/her. The calm or emotional rest which one feels as a result of having fulfilled these needs can be termed tranquility. Thus marriage in Islam is more than just a means of obtaining legal sex; it is an extremely important institution which safeguards the rights of men. women. and children while satisfying the physical. emotional and intellectual needs of the family members.
The profit (PBUH) illustrated the importance of marriage by saying.
Meaning;
''When a servant of Allah marries, he has completed half of his religious obligations and he must fear Allah in order to complete the second half.''

Marriage in islam

Marriage has been ordained by Allah as the correct and legal way to produce children and replenish the earth. The family is the basic unit of an Islamic nation or society. Allah has made the desire for mates and offspring instinctual for mankind and animals. Life on earth continues through children and children are the products of marriage. Nevertheless. marriage in Islam can not be viewed merely as means for uniting the male body with a female body and producing offspring. nor was marriage instituted just for purposes of satisfying natural desires or quenching passions. Its goals are much deeper in meaning than those obvious physical realities. Allah, the Most High, illuminates this fact in Chapter at-Room of Quran:
''And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you might live in tranquility (li-taskunoo) with  them and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are signs for those who reflect.''
